Welcome to QA Enablers – Test Environments team. We add value improving, implementing and supporting the IT environments and applications according to Nordea standards. As Test Automation Specialist, You will play a valuable role in implementing the Nordea Test Strategy by providing test automation solutions in various projects across Nordea

 

What you’ll be doing:

  • Implement test automation using standard roadmap, tools, framework & approach.
  • Contribute to implement, maintain and improve test automation frameworks
  • Actively work with development and infrastructure teams for integrating test automation as an integral part of Continuous delivery pipeline
  • Collaborate across workstreams and organisation as part of the test automation and QA Communities
  • Carry out automation feasibility studies
  • Pro-actively seek to make continuous improvements to test coverage, execution and automation
  • Understand test data dependencies for a given context
  • Working with international, cross-country environment

You’ll join QA Enablers - Test Environments, part of the Quality Assurance organization and is one of the necessary building blocks to support the transformation of the bank.

QA Enablers- Test Environments unit is the key driver of Test environment related strategy, governance & services across the bank.

 

Position is based in Gdynia, Poland

To succeed in this role, we believe that you:

  • Have strong experience in IT Software development Lifecycle (SDLC) and technology
  • Are a natural in navigating in a complex environment within the test automation and a quality driven thinker
  • Have an experience in one of the following languages: Java, Cobol, .NET
  • Have experience with defining CI/CD pipelines
  • Have excellent communication skills 
  • Have collaboration skills and the courage to challenge

Your experience and background:  

  • Source code versioning (Git, BitBucket, SourceTree)
  • CI (Bamboo, Jenkins)
  • Build tools (Maven, Gradle)
  • IDEs (IntelliJ, Eclipse, Visual Studio)
  • BDD libraries (Cucumber, SpecFlow or other based on Gherkin)
  • xUnit variant (Junit, NUnit or testNG etc.)
  • Strong experience in test automation (&/or UI and WebServices (REST, SOAP))
  • Experience with LeanFT .NET, or similar tool
  • Strong experience with .NET or Java
  • Experience with SQL
  • Have hands on experience with the following tools: Jenkins or Bamboo, JIRA, Bitbucket, Git/Stash
  • Familiar with ISTQB and Agile (SAFe, SCRUM, Kanban)
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written)
