The purpose of this function is to ensure that health and safety meets the highest standards and complies with the legislation and internal rules and routines.
- Raises awareness among employees on their responsibilities under the Safety and Health
- Carries out routine inspections on sites, and corrects any noncompliance with health and safety regulations
- Inspect equipment, machinery and processes to observe possible unsafe conditions
- Conduct training and presentations for health and safety matters and accident prevention
- Investigate accidents or incidents to discover root causes
- Recommend solutions to issues, improvement opportunities or new prevention measures
- Taking measurements, photographs, video recordings.
- Arranging for any testing, examination or analysis to be carried out at the workplace.
- Giving on site advice as appropriate during inspection visits.
- Writing reports on findings, and suggestions for changes needed to comply with legislation
