Would you like to play a significant cross-functional role across several segments and business areas, in defining Financial Crime Risk Reporting data for the Bank, automating data and Financial Crime reporting through data sourcing, visualisation tool development and providing ad hoc data analysis? We are now looking for a  Senior Business Analyst in Financial Crime Risk Data Development  to turn raw data into meaningful KPIs via BI tools.

About this opportunity

Welcome to the Financial Crime Risk Data Development team. We add value by playing a significant cross-functional role across several segments and business areas in providing timely and insightful reporting and complex data analyses, while enhancing Nordea’s Control Environment and reducing its Inherent Risk as part of Financial Crime Strategy. As Senior Business Analyst in Financial Crime Risk Data Development you’ll play a valuable role in creating a better defence for Financial Crime via smart solutions. 


What you’ll be doing:

  • Contribute to Nordea Group-wide Financial Crime Reporting Data strategy to enable timely and insightful Financial Crime reporting & risk assessment for Nordea Group
  • Support embedding Maturity Framework Measures and ongoing sustainable reporting across all Governance bodies split by Business Area / Business Unit and Jurisdiction
  • Driving the design, development and implementation of tools, analytical solutions & methodologies within the unit
  • Support stakeholders by providing insights of customer portofolio across the business areas
  • Identify data patterns, generate hypotheses and test those analytically

You’ll join a multicultural team with great expertise and passion withing the field . The role is based in Gdynia; Tallinn; Warsaw; Łódź.

  • Experience of agile ways of working including SAFe as well as project experience.
  • Have exellent communication skills
  • Strong focus on collaboration and see the value of strong relationships with key stakeholders
  • Result orientated 
  • You must be able to identify data patterns, generate hypotheses and test those analytically

Your experience and background:

  • More than 3 years’ experience in handling big data
  • Experience in data analysis and visualisation tools (QlikSense, Power BI)
  • Experience in Microsoft PowerApps & PowerAutomate
  • Experince in Microsoft Excel / PowerQuery
  • Proven programming skills in SQL, SAS, R or similar
